Nathan Proctor "Right to Repair"
National leader in the Right to Repair campaign Nathan Proctor of U.S. PIRG will provide an overview of the global efforts to help people fix products they own. He will update us on the efforts to require manufacturers to provide hospital-based and independent BMETs repair materials on fair and reasonable terms. Efforts to secure the Right to Repair for medical equipment surged after COVID-19 interfered with normal repair systems and highlighted how overly proprietary repair undermines quality health care.
