Using AI to Negotiate Smarter HTM Service Contracts

Presented by: Mark Cooksey (Norton Healthcare)

WSBA cordially invites you to the 1st member meeting and educational session in 2026, hosted with guest speaker, Mark Cooksey. The session will focus on how AI plus benchmarking (e.g., ECRI) help analyze proposals, surface risk, and prepare firm and professional responses that lead to savings and locked-in terms.

Mark works for Norton Healthcare in Louisville, Kentucky in a Clinical Engineering capacity, and is a thought leader on incorporating AI into the HTM field. He has given very popular and well-attended talks at AAMI eXchange on the topic, and has a wealth of educational content on the topic that he has developed: https://array.aami.org/content/news/htm-ai-artificial-intelligence.
